"LAND of the YETI" duathlon - An epic challenge using foot and bike to descend from the base of Mt Everest to the trailhead at Jiri. The race will follow the trail used by early pioneers returning from Everest expeditions on their way back to Kathmandu .

The RUN - 2 days, 50km of rocky mountain trails, a drop in altitude from 5140m to 2840m.

The BIKE - 3 days, 100km of rocky and stepped trail, forested track and 4wd jeep track, two 3000m+ passes, undulating terrain, 2840m to 1955m.

The CHALLENGE - To get from Gorak Shep to Jiri carrying everything needed for the duration of the race, complete with mountain bike (from Lukla), in the fastest time.
