Tiberias Marathon

Course: The course follows the shore line of the Sea of Galilee set against breathtaking rustic landscape, and winding through ancient history landmarks in the Jordan Valley. It is an out and back course, from the main street of Tiberias along the Sea of Galilee, crossing the Jordan River up to the turning point (approx. halfway) at Kibbutz Ein Gev and back to Tiberias.

Finishing line is at the Sheraton Moriah Plaza Hotel. The course is almost entirely flat and fast.

12 km. – same course but turning point will be at 6 km.

Average weather conditions – 15 C at 9 a.m.
