The Long Course Triathlon simply does 3 laps of the 5.1 mile bike course. Both races are run concurrently using wave starts. Body Markings will help distinguish who is doing the Short Course vs the Long Course events. The race course resides within the Lake of the Pines community. This is a very scenic environment with the race course for both the bike and run circumnavigating the lake. Please visit our web site. The race is in a rolling hill setting within the sierra foothills. The bike and run is moderately hilly. Average water temperature is between 75-80 degrees and the average high air temperature is 87 with a low of 58 degrees - (Auburn is in north central Cailfornia, northeast of Sacramento) Past Results
