Marathon Facts - The relatively flat loop course (elevation gain of 225 feet) is USATF certified and passes through rural Tumwater, Lacey and Olympia. It provides a scenic view of the Capitol area, Mt. Rainier, the Olympics, and Puget Sound. Here's a chance to see Thurston County at its finest! Runners will be required to move to the sidewalk for their safety if their pace is slower than 12 minutes per mile, 5.5 hour Marathon finish time.
