Triathlon: Swim 800-yards in the Avon Recreation Center pool ~ 14 mile vertical bike ride through Bachelor's Gulch ~ 5-mile run through Nottingham Park and along the bike path to Arrowhead and back to Nottingham Park

Duathlon: The Avon High Country Duathlon is a sprint distance Duathlon, but one of the most challenging in its class due to elevation gain. The bike portion gains close to 3000 feet in less than 6 miles
